Clearcut and Upper Jungle
In this region, one of my main responsibilities was constructing the Sentinel Tower, a structure that reflects the characteristic clay-and-wood architecture of Rivenese construction—a style that becomes even more evident in the village. Additionally, I contributed to the Wood Cart Area, where I sculpted the walls and floors in ZBrush, supported by wood trunks and planks. I enjoyed using repetition with these props to create a visually cohesive environment, breaking the pattern with small details like broken planks to add variety and realism.
This area also features two axes: a smaller wooden axe and a massive war axe. These were particularly enjoyable to create, as weapons aren’t a common focus in our games. The smaller axe was textured in Substance Painter, while the larger war axe required the use of trims and tiling textures for optimal visual fidelity

Riven 2024 was the second game I worked on with Cyan, revitalizing the sequel to Myst with modern visuals, enhanced sound, and interactive features for PC and VR. I collaborated with the Art Director and Art Lead to create immersive environments and props. These posts showcase only a selection of the work I contributed during the game’s development.
